Schools - don't miss this!
Real Voices has earned a reputation for its quality and creativity in making music a cross-curricular activity in primary schools. We have recorded over 100 schools across the UK. We have worked with major artists and professional musicians for over 20 years, and will bring the same experience and high technology recording equipment to your school!
We operate real studios in the West Midlands, where artists performing any genre of music have recorded their albums.
As members of Sound Sense, Artscape, trained by Sound It Out and registered with Wolverhampton City Council, Real Voices are fully qualified practitioners with up-to-date CRB checks, risk assessments and compliant and maintained equipment.
The founder and Project Manager of Real Voices, Stephen Joseph, has been immersed in music for over 30 years.
An Assistant Bank Manager at 21, he developed his music career in his spare time, teaching at private schools and then later designing and building a recording studio. After helping to build a bank at Egg plc, he set up several music-based businesses, including Real Voices, specialising in schools and youth work.
Becoming a full-time Music Director for local schools and at the Church at Junction 10 in Walsall have led to work with some of the finest singers, musicians and technicians in the UK.
Appearances on WCR FM and BBC WM have led to a greater interest in broadcast work and many tracks have received publicity in the press for their contribution to improve children's lives and social conditions.
Beverley Knight has already endorsed the activities undertaken by Stephen and Real Voices and lent her support, particularly in her home town of Wolverhampton.
To contact Stephen Joseph about any other projects other than those discussed on this site, please email him directly.
